The Women’s Ministry at FBCVA seeks to support, encourage, and exhort women of all ages.

It is our desire that you find a place to grow spiritually as well as

a place to serve faithfully among your Sisters in Christ.

  • Women's Bible Study

    Our Women’s Bible Studies are part of our Discipleship Pathway and are part of the “Training.” Currently, we have two groups meeting on a semester basis on Wednesdays, one in the morning and one during our Wednesday night Midweek programming for kids and students.

  • Sparrow Identity Course

    FBCVA Women, you're invited to join us at the Sparrow Identity Course on Jan 17-18, hosted at Sparrow on Main in Lewisville, TX. At this 2-day workshop, we will consider with intentionality your passions and giftings, your story, and the season and community in which you have been placed so that you might fulfill your God-given purpose with greater clarity and confidence.   • The NEST

    We are excited to introduce a new opportunity within our FBCVA Women’s Ministry, beginning September 2024!

    The goal of The NEST is to ‘nurture’, ‘encourage’, ‘strengthen’ and ‘train’ moms in biblical motherhood with community, topical conversations, and prayer.

    The NEST Ministry is a place for moms to gather on the first Tuesday of every month, from September - May, from 7:00 - 8:30 p.m at the Nitcher’s home. For information on location and schedule, please join the Private NEST Facebook page by clicking the link below.
